On the opening night of LEAP, the Canadian Business Network hosts a closed reception bringing together 60 guests: Saudi venture investors, executives from Saudi AI and technology companies, Canadian founders and senior executives in the Kingdom, Canadian technology companies visiting for LEAP, and representatives of the Canadian Embassy.

The evening opens with remarks from CBN Chairman Marc Jackson, followed by two short talks. Asim Altokhais, screenwriter, novelist and the first Saudi admitted to Vancouver Film School. Mohannad Zikra, founder and CEO of Stella Stays, on From 10 Apartments in Montreal to a Portfolio of Buildings in Saudi. The rest of the night is unstructured: live oud, Saudi hospitality, and conversation in a relaxed, majlis-style setting rather than a conference room.

Attendance

This event is reserved for members of the Canadian Business Network, current donors and sponsor companies, and personally invited guests. Capacity is 60 and the guest list is curated.

Submitting an RSVP registers your interest. It does not confirm entry. Every request is reviewed, and confirmed guests receive a personal confirmation with the venue details.
