Setting Up in Saudi Arabia: From MISA Licence to Full Compliance
About this event
Thinking about starting a company or investing in Saudi Arabia? This members-only session walks through the full setup journey, from the foreign investor licence to a fully compliant operating entity.
The Ministry of Investment (MISA) is the first door every foreign investor walks through. A MISA representative will explain the investor licensing process, what the Ministry looks for in an application, and will take your questions directly. From there, Muyasser Albar, lawyer and CEO and Co-Founder of STAMP, the Riyadh-based compliance platform, will cover what happens after the licence: commercial registration, the regulatory bodies a Saudi entity answers to, and how to keep the company in good standing from day one.
What we will cover
- The MISA foreign investor licence: eligibility, activities, documents, timelines
- Incorporation: from licence to commercial registration and a bank-ready entity
- Post-incorporation obligations: Ministry of Commerce, Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development, ZATCA, GOSI, immigration and visas
- Common mistakes foreign founders make in year one, and how to avoid them
- Open Q&A with the Ministry of Investment
